Over the last ten years we have had our dedicated team of Chiropractors, Physiotherapist’s, Kinesiologist, RMT’s and Certified Athletic Therapy(CAT) Services, which strongly bonds us with on-field scenario’s and in-clinic therapy In other words a great Synergy!

A Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT) is best known for their quick thinking for on field emergency care and it is this quick thinking that also makes then an effective practitioner in a clinical setting for musculoskeletal injuries. Athletic Therapists can treat a wide range of patients, from kids with concussions to seniors recovering from knee replacement surgery to professional athletes.

The specific expertise of our Athletic Therapist lies in the knowledge of seeing on-field sport injures on a daily basis, thus allowing instructions in various techniques such as athletic taping, K-T taping, advance knowledge in sport specific bracing, and training techniques to enhance sport specific performance and injury prevention.

Additionally, our CAT provides various techniques of manual therapy such as mobilization, soft-tissue therapies and medically researched exercise programs specific to a sport or injury condition.

The addition of a CAT we feel strengthens the already successful Synergy Rehab & Physiotherapy Centre treatment team to a new level for all our patients.
