Dr. Sanjib Ghoshdastdidar
BSc, CK, DC
Clinic Owner/Director
Dr. Sanjib Ghoshdastidar has been the owner and director of Synergy Rehab and Physiotherapy Center since 2005. He completed a Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo (1998), and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (2002).
Dr. Ghoshdastidar practice in his early years consisted largely of orthopedic cases involving Sports injuries, Traumatic Brain and Motor vehicle accidents. His experience with seeing so many patients with needs beyond the orthopedic realm led him to go on a journey to develop and incorporate not only traditional rehabilitation techniques, but also the realms of nutrition, psychotherapy, and ancient breathing techniques
Currently Dr. Ghoshdastidar’s holistic practice style incorporates working with various allied medical health professionals over the GTA and has even attracted local NBA,NHL, CFL and Raptors 905 to his practice.
With over 25 years of experience in the realm of holistic health and orthopedic training Dr. Ghoshdastidar practice style is unique from a typical chiropractic experience.
Zia A. Barmania
Physiotherapist
Zia A. Barmania completed a specialist Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto and then proceeded to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. He has since completed postgraduate training and certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion Management and Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
Mr. Barmania has been practicing physiotherapy primarily in the orthopedic realm for over twenty years. He has extensive experience treating an array of conditions ranging from acute to chronic. Some of the conditions he treats include sports related injuries, work related injuries as well as motor vehicle accident injuries
Zia is registered to practice physiotherapy with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He currently holds membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Ontario Physiotherapy Association (Orthopedic Division).
Dr. Angelo La Delfa BSc, DC
Chiropractor
Dr. La Delfa received his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from York University, Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and RMT license from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. He also holds a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University and furthered his training in cupping therapy.
Treatments under Dr. La Delfa’s watch include a detailed examination accompanied by a combination of hands-on soft tissue therapies, medical acupuncture, cupping therapy, joint mobilization, and manipulation with rehabilitative exercise programs available to patients.
Dr. La Delfa maintains his skills through ongoing education and leadership development programs. He upholds professional membership status with the Ontario Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association.
Mrs. Angela Vona (AM)
Health Administrator
Mrs. Angela Vona has been with Synergy Rehab & Physiotherapy Center since 2011 as a health administrator. Prior to joining our clinic she was working in the realm of Chronic Pain and Rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic she enjoys walks by the lake and spending time with her 2 kids and husband.
Vicky Panetta, BA (Spec Hons)
Kinesiology and Health Science Rehabilitation Coordinator
Vicky Panetta completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Specialized Honours in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University in 2004.
Vicky has been a dedicated employee of Synergy Rehab and Physiotherapy Centre for over 16 years, working diligently to expand her knowledge and abilities in order to better patient care.
She currently works at the management level as the Rehabilitation Coordinator, she works closely with the healthcare practitioners and administration staff to reach patient’s treatment goals.
